Professor Stephen Smith, Principal of the Faculty of Medicine and Chief Executive of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust will focus in his lecture on Imperial's Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC), the first of its kind, and the largest Trust in the UK. The AHSC brings together the delivery of healthcare services, teaching and research in a partnership whose purpose is to improve the health of its patients.
Friends of Imperial College organises an annual programme of lectures, visits and social events at the college individuals interested in all aspects of science, technology and medicine.
